DIY ROOM DECOR! Design your wall arts & make your own gallery wall

https://www.etsy.com/shop/BlinkyART
Hi guys! On this video I will show how to make this gallery wall perfect for any empty wall in your room! It is really easy to make your own design and make it look exactly like you want!

The first step is designing your quote arts. I’m using picmonkey.com for this because it’s free, but you can use any program you want like photoshop. I will show you how I made my own design so you can feel inspired and make your own. For the first one, I use the text tool to write “Stay weird” and then add a couple of arrows as an overlay. Once You’re happy with the design save it to your computer.

For the next one I chose a circle and made it pink. Then I clicked on my own overlays and chose a quote from my computer that had black background, and I found it on Google. If you change the blend mode to lighten, the black part will disappear.

You can also search on Google a watercolor design, open it on picmonkey.com and do the same thing with another quote.
Once you have all the designs you want put them in frames. You can even use clipboards too. You can use you own art works or print some from Google like these flowers and this bird.

Now take some time to decide the position of all your frames until your happy with the layout.

This step is optional but I think it’s really helpful, just trace the outline of the frames on a newspaper and cut that out. Tape the newspaper pieces to your wall so you make sure that your design will look good on the actual wall.

To secure the frames to your wall you can of course drill some holes but I think is way easier to use some really strong tape specifically made for this. It can still damage the paint of your wall a little bit but it’s less messy than drilling.

So just add a little piece of tape on the back of the frames and go one by one placing them on your wall. First of course take out the newspaper piece.

And that’s it! I hope you liked this video, it took me a while to discover how to make this in the easiest way possible so I hope you found it useful. Don’t forget to tweet me a picture if you try this and leave me any request in the comment section. Thanks for watching and happy new year!
